I went to a MarketingProfs conference last week and attended four great seminars:

  • The Art of the Possible: Online Branding Strategies and Tactics by David Plouffe
  • The 2009 Economic Impact on B2B Marketing Budgets and Practices by Laura Ramos
  • 10 B2B Online Content Marketing Tactics to Accelerate Your Sales and Marketing, with speakers from Junta42, Avaya and Con-way
  • The Anatomy of a Strong Corporate Blog, with speakers from Radian6, Dell and Southwest Airlines

I also met with at least 10 different vendors and socialized in the networking lounge. Besides the highly applicable learning and resources for B2B marketing, why is this such interesting news? Because I attended the entire conference from my desk at TriComB2B.

My flippant reply was: “Because I’m smart.” And while that statement is certainly true, it did not begin to answer their question.
